The Hall is Kevin Shea’s 17th hockey book. An award-winning author, his credits include The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club: Official Centennial Publication, Derek Sanderson: Crossing the Line and Barilko: Without A Trace.
Since 2001, he has served as the Editor of Publications and Online Features for the Hockey Hall of Fame, and teaches a hockey course at a Toronto college. His writing credits span North America, including NHL.com, the Toronto Star and the National Post. As one of the principals with Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer, Kevin has contributed to raising over $16 million for cancer research through the past seven years. He also sits on MLSE’s Toronto Maple Leafs Historical Committee.
A member of the Society for International Hockey Research, in 2012, Kevin was awarded that organization’s Brian McFarlane Award for “excellence in research and writing” and in 2017, he was the recipient of the President’s Award for “outstanding contributions to advancing hockey research.”
